Delete your data

Three ways to remove your data from Social Engine. Only the email request erases everything — the in-app actions are narrower, and we say exactly how.

What gets deleted

#what-is-deleted

A full deletion request (Option 2, below) removes your Social Engine account, the posts you created, your connected social account records, the access tokens for those accounts, and the media you uploaded.

02

Option 1: In the app

#in-the-app

Open your connected accounts and disconnect any account you want us to stop using. Disconnecting removes that platform's stored access tokens immediately and stops us from acting on your behalf on it.

An administrator in your organization can delete a user's login from the users page.

Neither action erases your posts, your other connected accounts, or your uploaded media. To erase all of your data, use the email request in Option 2.

03

Option 2: Email us

#by-email

This is the complete-deletion path. Email support@btwebgroup.com with the subject Data Deletion Request, from the email address on your account. We will delete your data and confirm within 30 days.

04

Option 3: If you connected Facebook or Instagram

#facebook

In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Social Engine, and choose Remove. This revokes our access to your Pages and Instagram accounts.

Removing the app stops future access, but it does not erase what we already stored. Email us as described above and we will delete those copies too.
